Terms and Conditions
Please review the following terms and conditions that govern your use and purchase of products from our site. Your use of our site constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Terms of Conditions.
ORDERING: All orders may be placed online (www.doginthecloset.com), email (email@example.com), phone (972) 875-DOGS (3647), or fax (972) 875-1000. Wholesale customers are encouraged to place orders in what ever way they feel is the best for their store. We are always happy to talk to our customers.
WHOLESALE CUSTOMERS: Wholesale customers will need to submitted an Online Application and copy of your Resell Certificate in order to access wholesale prices and order online. If you need assistance please contact us by phone (972) 875-DOGS (3647) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org). We will also send you a complete copy of our sales policies.
RETAIL CUSTOMERS: We encourage shoppers to shop first at the retail stores that carry our products. New items are offered for sale to our wholesale customers before being offered for sale online. Shoppers also have the advantage of seeing, feeling and touching the products thereby insuring the best possible fit for your dogs.
LEAD TIME: Most orders are shipped the following business day. Please allow additional time for large orders, orders placed during busy seasons, or orders placed at wholesale trade shows. Intransit time is 1-3 days for most shipments. If you need an order shipped over night or with a guaranteed delivery date please contact us by email or phone.
PAYMENT TERMS: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express. All mailed checks will be sent for direct collection prior to order being shipped.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We are happy to accommodate international orders. International orders are usually shipped by USPS with tracking and insurance. Please email us with your order so that we can quote an accurate shipping cost.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING COST: All US orders are shipped by Fed Ex ground or USPS Priority Mail. We do not ship by C.O.D. If you need an order shipped to an International destination or with a guaranteed delivery date please contact us by email of phone.
BACK ORDERS: All items not in stock at the time of order are placed on back order. You will be notified when there are back orders and allowed the option to ship the available items or hold the order until the back ordered items are back in stock. When back ordered items become available you will be notified before items are shipped. You will not be charged for any items until they are shipped.
RETURNS: If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return any item within 15 days of the date of invoice. All Sale or Discontinued Items are not returnable. Items must be returned in original condition, unused and with all original tags attached. No returns are accepted without prior authorization and must be received no later than 15 days from date of invoice. We will either provide a replacement item or in-house credit. Unless an error is due to a mistake by Dog in the Closet, all original shipping charges are non-refundable. Additional shipping charges will apply to exchanges. And returns will be charged a 25% restocking fee. All Rhinestone Tees are custom made when ordered and subject to a 50% restocking fee. Upon authorization, returns must be shipped freight prepaid. We will not accept returns sent back C.O.D. We are not responsible for any returned packages lost in shipping. For your protection, we suggest you send your return via UPS, Fed Ex or by USPS with insurance and delivery confirmation.
CLAIMS: Claims for breakage or damages occurring during shipping must be made to the carrier. We, the shipper, cannot file a claim for you. We will be happy to assist you with further information if needed in filing a claim.
COPYRIGHT: The entire content included in this site, including but not limited to text, graphics or code is copyrighted as a collective work under the United States and other copyright laws, and is the property of Dog in the Closet. Permission is granted to electronically copy and print hard copy portions of this site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Dog in the Closet. Any other use, including but not limited to the reproduction, distribution, display or transmission of the content of this site is strictly prohibited, unless authorized by Dog in the Closet.
TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS: In the event that a Dog in the Closet product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Dog in the Closet reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Dog in the Closet reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Dog in the Closet shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
MERCHANDISE AVAILABILITY: Merchandise available on our website is not guaranteed as it may be low in stock. If merchandise is not available by the time your order processes, we will notify you of this via e-mail or phone. You can always verify availability by calling (972) 875 - DOGS (3647).
COMMENTS, FEEDBACK & OTHER SUBMISSIONS: We welcome your comments and feedback regarding our site, our products and our services. Dog in the Closet does not and cannot review all communications and materials posted to or created by users accessing the site, and is not in any manner responsible for the content of these communications and materials. Comments submitted by you must not violate any right of any third party, and must not contain any libelous, abusive, obscene or otherwise unlawful material.
LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES: This site may include links to other Internet sites maintained by third parties. Dog in the Closet provides linked sites to you solely as a convenience. Linked sites are not under the control of Dog in the Closet & we are not responsible for the contents of any linked site.
INDEMNIFICATION: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dog in the Closet from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of these terms and conditions or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the site using your Internet account.
WARRANTY: Dog in the Closet warrants to the original wholesale purchaser and/or the original retail purchaser that the merchandise will be free from defects in material and workmanship at time of purchase. Should the merchandise prove defective, Dog in the Closet will, at its option replace, the merchandise when returned to its warehouse. Dog in the Closet must be given written notice for any such claimed defects promptly, and merchandise is to be submitted freight prepaid for examination. Dog in the Closet shall not have any responsibility or liability for damages in shipment or that arising from accidents, abuse, or improper use of the goods or merchandise. Pets should be properly supervised while wearing or using any of our products.
